FAQ

Straight answers before homeowners call.

The answers stay practical: what to send, what surfaces need a lighter touch, and what homeowners should expect before an estimate.

Do you offer free pressure washing estimates?

Yes. Send your name, phone number, town or ZIP, and the surface you want cleaned. Photos can come later after the first request if they would help.

What should I include in the estimate request?

Include the town, the main surface, any timing preference, and a short note about the problem. Mention plants, pets, ponds, gates, outlets, cameras, or stubborn stains.

Can I request an estimate without photos?

Yes. Photos help with siding, roof streaks, pavers, decks, and stains, but they are not required to start the estimate request.

Do I need to be home for pressure washing?

Often no, as long as water access, gates, pets, windows, vehicles, and fragile areas are handled before the appointment. The estimate should confirm this first.

What affects pressure washing cost?

Surface type, size, staining, water access, slope, nearby delicate areas, add-ons, and the level of prep all affect the estimate.

Can house and driveway cleaning be bundled?

Yes. Bundles can make sense when the house, driveway, walkway, patio, or deck all need attention. The written scope should list each surface.

Do you serve Hopatcong and Sparta first?

Yes. JC focuses on Hopatcong, Sparta, Lake Hopatcong, and nearby North Jersey towns. If you are close by, send the town or ZIP and the surface that needs cleaning.

Is soft washing different from pressure washing?

Soft washing usually uses lower pressure and cleaning solution for delicate exterior surfaces. Concrete and siding should not be treated the same way.

Can pressure washing damage siding?

Yes, the wrong pressure, angle, or cleaner can cause problems. Siding should be reviewed by material, condition, loose areas, oxidation, and nearby openings.

Can you pressure wash a roof?

Asphalt shingle roofs should not be pressure washed. Roof cleaning needs roof-appropriate soft-wash or low-pressure language after the material and condition are confirmed.

Will pressure washing hurt plants or pets?

Do not assume every process has no risk. Mention plants, pets, ponds, gardens, and runoff areas before scheduling so the job can be scoped carefully.

What should I move before pressure washing?

Move vehicles, cushions, delicate decor, and small items when possible. Close windows, unlock gates, keep pets inside, and mention loose trim or old outlets.

Will every stain come out?

No. Organic buildup often improves, but oxidation, rust, oil, irrigation stains, old coatings, and worn surfaces may need specialty treatment or may remain visible.

Are the photos on this site real JC projects?

The site uses service examples to show common surfaces and cleaning situations. Real before-and-after project photos will be labeled clearly when available.
